Travis Alan Flasschoen

Travis’ life began on November 18, 1982, in Newton. He was the son of Jaymes Lee Flasschoen and Cyndi Dee (Newfield) Easterberg. Travis was a 2001 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School. While in school, Travis played trombone in the band, playing baseball and was a member of the swim team. After graduation, Travis took a job with Artisan Fabrication in Springfield, MO. until a series of health conditions made it impossible for him to work. Travis was united in marriage to Sarah (Dunfield) McAuley on February 1, 2022, in Wichita and they have a young son Trip Flasschoen. Travis loved to hunt and shoot guns with his son and brother. They would often go kayaking or fishing together. Travis would initiate random car trips to just go explore the area with his family and he truly would do anything for anyone at any time. He build sheds, gazebos and chicken coops for neighbors and an anniversary hall tree for Sarah. Building things was the way Travis showed he cared for you.
