Toni Marie Svitak

Toni’s life began on March 28,1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was adopted by and is the daughter of John and Cleda (Copple) Meyer.  Toni attended Centre High School and attended Brown Mackie College for business.  She was a bookkeeper for her husband’s machine shop, and later worked at Machine Tools.com as a telemarketer.

Many remember Toni as the owner of The Office Bar and Grill.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing charity poker games and most especially enjoyed her grandchildren and being with family and friends.

She is survived by her three sons Terry (Cassie) Svitak of Herington, Trent (Jessica) Svitak of Herington and Taylor (Robyn) Svitak of Woodbine; grandchildren Jace, Cameron, Jonathan, Colby, Peyton, Landon, Kynlee, Jossilynn, Catalina, Yalina, Jayden, Audreyanna, and Adalynn; sibling Mark (Marsha) Meyer, Brian (Tammy) Meyer, Terri Meyer and Eric Meyer; foster siblings Venita, Ranae and Gary; her biological siblings Bill Slusher, Diane Garland, Lanett Frazier, Terry (Tom) McNamara, Frank Longano and Bobby (Joy) Slusher and many nieces and nephews.

Toni passed away at her home on Monday September 25, 2023.  She is preceded in death by her husband Todd Svitak, parents, foster sibling Therold and biological siblings Mark, Jimmy, Charmaine, and Dannia.

 Her family will gather with friends on Saturday October 14, 2023, at Yazel - Megli Funeral Home, Herington for her memorial service at 1 p.m. with visitation from 12 – 1 p.m.  She will be laid to rest in Pilsen Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the family for the benefit of her grandchildren.  Please sign her online guestbook and leave a memory of Toni at www.yazelmeglifh.com.
