Tim was born on January 17, 1972, in Lander, Wyoming to Kenton J. and Ellen O. (Alexander) Standridge. He was a 1994 graduate of Riverton High School in Riverton, WY and attended college at Dull Knife Community College. Tim completed training to become a certified Nursing Assistant and spent the rest of his life taking care of the elderly and disabled, displaying a gift of kindness and compassion that made him loved by those he cared for and respected by those he worked with. He had worked as a CNA in Herington, White River, SD, the VA in Topeka and for the last six years at Diversicare of Council Grove. Tim was united in marriage to Paula Kasten on July 20. 2002 and they made Latimer their home for the last seven years. Tim had several hobbies, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his friends and watching stand up comedy on TV. He left a massive collection of miniature cars which he refinished and kept on display, a collection of knives and had begun to design and paint beverage tumblers. He frequently watched historic programs on Christianity and the Bible and was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church where he would attend church when he wasn’t working. He will leave a void that can never be filled in the lives of all who knew him and worked with him and now Tim resides with his Heavenly Father and his family in his new Heavenly home. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on June 9, 2023, at the Latimer Cemetery at 11 a.m. led by Pastor King Crawford. Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Herington is serving the family. Memorial contributions in Tim’s name may be directed to the Valley Hope Foundation and left in care of the funeral home.
