ELBING – Rev. W. C. “Bill” Wiebe, 89, passed away May 13, 2015, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton. He was born February 20, 1926, the son of Herman A. and Anna (Epp) Wiebe. On August 15, 1952, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Landis. She preceded him in death. On November 25, 2000, he was united in marriage to Arlene Dietz. He was a minister, most recently at Emmaus Mennonite Church, Whitewater. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Dorothy, a son Kevin Wiebe, and siblings: Hilda Regier, Esther Busenitz, Emilie Busenitz, Alfred, Edward, and Waldimir Wiebe. He is survived by his wife Arlene of Elbing; a daughter, Nancy Holliday and husband Patrick of Whitewater; a daughter-in-law, Arleta Wiebe of Elbing; a brother, Richard and wife Margaret Wiebe of Whitewater; a sister, Gladys Wiebe of Elbing; and 6 grandchildren. Visitation with family will be held from 2 – 4 p.m., Sunday, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2015, at Emmaus Mennonite Church, Whitewater. The committal service will precede the funeral at 10:00 a.m., at Emmaus Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial Funds have established for Grace University or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S Main, Whitewater, KS, 67154.
