PLAINVILLE – Ralph E. Eickleberry, age 73, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville. He was born May 30, 1942, at Liberty, Illinois, the son of Glen and Mildred (Hanson) Eickleberry. Ralph proudly served his country with the United States Army, serving in Germany, in the early 1960’s. On October 22, 1971, he was married to Alma Gibson at St. Louis, Missouri. He was a truck driver. They made their home in Marion, for many years. Alma passed away March 21, 2001. Ralph is survived by his sons: George Gore of Durham; Jeff Gore of Palco; Bill Eickleberry of Wood River, Illinois; and Glen Eickleberry of Damar; his daughter, Sherry Kamp of Wood River, Illinois; brothers, Jack and Richard; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861. Inurnment will follow at the Marion Cemetery.
