Rachel Toland

Rachel's life began on November 18, 1933 in Hutchinson. She was the daughter of Charles H. and Margaret (Percell) Gough.  Rachel was united in marriage to Marion Toland on January 12, 1952, in Hutchinson and they enjoyed 72 years of love together.  She worked for many years as a secretary for SRS in the State of Kansas.  Rachel and Marion lived for some time at the Marion County Lake and enjoyed country life in Marion County before moving to McPherson.  She is survived by her husband Marion of McPherson, daughter Becky (Steve) Dunmire, grandchildren Matthew (Francisco) French-Bravo, Josh (Melissa) French, and Tiffany Bingham, Hunter French, and McKenzie French; great grandchildren Jake (Jenn) Taylor, Kale French, Addie French, Caleb Bingham, Anne Bingham, and Liam Bingham; great great grandchildren Jaxson Taylor, Ashton Taylor, and Bennett Taylor.  Rachel passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024.  She is preceded in death by her parents and son Marty Toland. There will be a private family service held on September 21st.
