Neva A Peterson

BURDICK -  Neva A. Peterson, 98,

Neva Adelia Peterson, of Burdick, died Sunday, February 7th, 2016, at the Brookdale Assisted Living of Salina.  She was born on August 29th, 1917, at Burdick, the daughter of Otto V. and Corrine E. (Gellart) Anderson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 13th, 2016, at Hebron Lutheran Church, Burdick, with Pastor Bill Peterson, officiating.  A private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Mrs. Peterson was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church of Burdick and was very active with the women’s group.  She cleaned the church for many years. She graduated from Burdick High School with the class of 1936.

She married Roy Peterson in Newton, on Dec. 9th, 1939; he preceded in death in April of 1986.  She was preceded in death by a son Mark Peterson, three sisters Irene Schild, Margaret Rust, Linnea Riggin, two brothers, Leland Anderson, Paul Anderson, and her parents.

She is survived by a son Larry and his wife Susie of Granby, CO, a daughter Candice Deneault and her husband Darrell of Salina, two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandsons.
