Harriett Nadine Hill, 88, of Salina, KS, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving children on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Nadine’s life began on May 18, 1931, the daughter of Glen and Muriel (Nott) Stice in Herington, KS. She graduated from Herington High School in 1949.
Nadine worked as a bookkeeper at Continental Grain Co., a secretary at Herington High School, a sales clerk at JM McDonald Clothing store and Boelling Drug Store all in Herington. She also worked as a sales clerk at B & J Drug Store in Concordia. Nadine enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, crafting as well as her love for cardinals, music and dancing. However, her biggest love was her children, grandchildren, their families, and her many friends. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Elks, Eastern Star and a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary.
Her loving family includes her children, Dale (Rita) Hull of Herington, Kansas; Scott (Diane) Hull of Lincolnville, Kansas; Bruce (Diane) Hull of Lincoln, Nebraska; Lee Ann (Jerry) Peters of Gypsum, Kansas; Tina (Bob) Goff of Concordia, Kansas; and Phillip (Bobbie) Hill of Ord, Nebraska; Sister Carolyn Shank of Salina, Kansas; 20 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Hull (1971), husband Glen Hill (2017), her parents and two brothers, Crandall and Harold.
A graveside service and a celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
