Menno Neufeld

Menno H. Neufeld, age 82, Passed away November 26, 2018, at his home.

He was born April 5, 1936, at Newton, Kansas, the son of Henry and Anna Hiebert Neufeld. Menno grew up in Newton and graduated high school there.

Menno had been a laborer and owned Neufeld Appliance for many years. His first wife Sophie passed away in 2002.

He was married to Dorothy Colman on September 27, 2003, at Newton. They made their home at Marion Reservoir in 2009. Menno was a member of the Strassburg Baptist Church, rural Marion.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughters Jeanette (Robert) Suther of Hutchinson, Kansas, Brenda Willard of Joplin, Missouri, Denise (George) LeRoux of Alta Vista, Kansas, a sister Leona (Leland) Goering of Moundridge, Kansas, and four granddaughters, Kaitlyn Dellwig, Laure Suther, Savannah and Ashtyn Willard.

There will be a visitation with family present from 11:30 – 1 p.m. Thursday at the Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. The committal service will be 2:30 Thursday at the North Inman Cemetery. The memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Strassburg Baptist Church, rural Marion.
