Luella R. Popp

MARION – Luella R. Popp, 93, passed away January 23, 2016, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.  She was born January 18, 1923, at Hillsboro, the daughter of Henry and Tena (Rempel) Regier. She was a graduate of Marion High School. On August 19, 1949, she was united in marriage to Ralph Popp.  She was a homemaker and also bookkeeper for the Mack-Welling Lumber Yard.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; and siblings:  Vernon Regier, Arnold Regier, Wes Regier, and Gladys Loewen.  She is survived by her children:  Joanne Loewen and husband David of Hillsboro; and John Popp of Wichita; two grandchildren:  David Loewen and Tena Loewen; siblings:  Herbert Regier and wife Wilma, and  Marge Christensen and husband Eugene; and siblings-in-law:  Eileen Regier, and Edith Regier.  Visitation with family will be held from 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2016, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion, with Rev.
