Lois Irene Ballance

Lois’ life began on December 11, 1928, in Whitewater. She was the daughter of William Leroy and Gracie Bernice (Bailey) Spratt. Lois was a 1946 graduate of Whitewater High School. After school, Lois worked as a telephone operator for Whitewater and later worked as the office manager of the Butler Rural Electric Cooperative. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and had been active in the Altar Society. Lois enjoyed tending to her flowers in her garden and enjoyed being part of her church. She is survived by her daughter Sue (David) Lincicome of Valley Center; grandchildren Jeremy Lincicome of Wichita and Joshua Lincicome of El Dorado; and her brother Jack (Jane) Spratt of Whitewater. Lois passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2024, at Lake Point Nursing Home in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Irvin and Paul Spratt. Her family will gather with friends on Tuesday June 18, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home. Her graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Whitewater Cemetery.
