Linda Jane Zeiner

Linda’s life began on May 31, 1952, in Salina, KS. She was the daughter of Lester Eugene Geissert and Bertie (Biles) Hood and stepfather Loren Hood. Linda was united in marriage to John Zeiner on September 18, 2004, at Herington Lake. Linda and John were the owners and operators of J and L Tire in Herington for many years. They were active supporters of Herington Hearts Core Community. Linda is survived by her children Colleen (Chris) Garr of Lost Springs, Derek (Tonya) Summers of Herington and Jeff Summers of Herington; her brothers; Gene, Lanny, and Bruce Geissert; and her sister; Rose Bayes; her  grandchildren Linda, Christopher, Christina, and Johnathon Garr, and Austin Summers; great grandchildren Remington, Donald, Cherokee and Edward. Linda passed away at her home on Tuesday August 30, 2022, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John, granddaughter Angel Summers and two brothers Bud and Leo Geissert. The family will remember Linda privately with no public services.
