Kendall Layne Harding

Kendall Layne Harding, 29, of Lost Springs, Kansas passed away Monday, January 20th, 2025. He was born August 23rd, 1995, in Emporia, Kansas to Kelsey Leon and Lois Irene (Miser) Harding. Kendall was baptized as an infant at Council Grove Methodist Church.

 Kendall was a graduate of Centre High School class of 2013. Kendall loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed rodeos, roping, working cattle and life itself. Kendall lived his life with zest…. he never knew a stranger…. He was kind and loving and loyal. Anytime someone needed help with farming or ranching, Kendall was the one they called, and he loved doing that. He married Mickayla L. (Kaiser) Harding October 21, 2017, at Pioneer Bluffs near Matfield Green.

 Kendall was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Miser Harding; his brother, Konley, and his grandparents, Wayne & Mary Lou Miser and Dick Harding.

 He is survived by Mickayla and their children, Karter and Kinnleigh, his parents, Kelsey and Candace Harding; his brother Kordell Harding; two half-brothers, Kelly and Kory Harding; Grandmother Sue Harding of Thayer, KS; uncles, aunts, other family and friends. 

A come-and-go celebration of life will be held from February 1, 2025 from 11 am to 4 pm at the Herington Community Building located at 810 South Broadway, Herington, Kansas. The family asks for everyone to dress in casual western attire in memory of Kendall.  A meal will be provided while family and friends gather to celebrate Kendall’s life. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Karter and Kinnleigh’s education fund.
