Kay E. Heidebrecht

November 20, 1939 — November 28, 2015

MARION – Kay E. Heidebrecht, 76, passed away November 28, 2015, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, Kansas.  She was born November 20, 1939, at Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Clinton and Marguerite (Woodring) Swan.  She was a graduate of Wichita East High School.  On September 13, 1958, she was united in marriage to Leland Heidebrecht.  Their union was blessed with two sons.  In 1967, they relocated to Marion, where they owned and operated Quality Market.  She is lovingly survived by her husband, Leland of the home; sons: Scott and wife Rolana of Marion; and Dale and wife Christine of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Shirley Steppe and husband Don of Overland Park, Kansas; a brother, Paul and wife Kathy Swan of Marion; and five grandsons:  Tyson, Justin, Taylor, Peyton, and Evann Heidebrecht.  A Visitation with family will be held from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.  The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Strassburg Baptist Church, Marion.  Interment will follow at the Marion Cemetery.  A Memorial Fund has been established for Strassburg Baptist Church, in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.  Online Condolences may be left at www.zeinerfuneralhomes.com.
