MARION - Kaleb J. Montgomery, 18, formerly of Cottonwood Falls, passed away June 27, 2015, in Chase County on Hwy 150, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born in Marion on August 29, 1996. He worked for the Chase County Road & Bridge Department. He was a 2014 graduate of Chase County High School. He loved to fish and enjoyed camping. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He is survived by his mother, Jenny Herzet and Jon Burright of Cottonwood Falls; his brothers: Calvin Montgomery and Corban Montgomery and his sister, Kyndal Christensen all of Cottonwood Falls; his grandparents, Jim and Janet Herzet of Marion; his uncle Jared and Sara Herzet of Shawnee; his nephew Matthew Herzet of Shawnee; and his step-siblings: Trevor Burright, Braeden Burright, and Ashley Burright of Cottonwood Falls. All services will be held at Holy Family Parish, St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Florence, with the Rosary being held at 7:00 p.m., and the Funeral Mass being held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery. A Memorial Fund has been established for the Chase County Fishing Derby, in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.
