Jeffery Scott Christensen

Jeff’s life began on May 7, 1963, in Lawrence, KS. He was the son of James and Judith (Cole) Christensen. Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Marion High School and he attended Hutchison Community College and Butler County Community College. Jeff worked for Lynn’s Truck and Tractor farm equipment as the bookkeeper for many years and later for Western Associates and Casey’s. Jeff was always smiling and even as a baby had a pleasing personality. He was very artistic, enjoying ink drawing and wood cut printing. Jeff could often be spotted walking his dog Jax before moving to live at St. Luke’s Living Center. He is survived by his parents Jim and Judi; and his brother Jay (Kathy) Christensen of Apollo Beach, FL. Jeff passed away January 4, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Marion. He is preceded in death by his nephew Alex Christensen. His family will gather with friends on Wednesday January 12th at 10:30 a.m. for his memorial service at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion. He will be laid to rest in Marion Cemetery. Yazel Megli Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorial contributions in Jeff’s name may be directed to Eastmoor United Methodist Church.
