James Ralph Weber

James Ralph Weber was born March 28, 1952 in Herington, KS to Gene and Norma (Bentz) Weber of Ramona, KS.

He was raised on a farm near Ramona and grew up to love farming/ranching.  He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith at St. John's Lutheran Church, Tampa, KS.

He attended grade school at Ramona and graduated from Centre High School.

"Jimmy" as he was called by so many that knew him, was a talented athlete and still holds records in track at Centre High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Norma Weber.  A sister, Joy Weber.  A nephew, Aaron Spoo and his son, James Weber.

Jim was a free spirit, spending much of his life as an over the road long haul trucker, which he loved very much, logging well over a million miles in his earlier career.

He also enjoyed riding motorcyles, having Harleys and recently a "trike" to enjoy time on the open road.

He returned home to farm with his dad until his passing and for several years after.  Jim was recently hauling grain for the Deines' Brothers Farms and he will be missed for his timely help and showing up whenever needed.

Jim had a firm and deep faith, spending time in prison ministry in the past and helping many in need.

Jim is survived by his children:  Bobbie Medeiros/RI, Jamie Weber/AR, Mishelle Tinoco/Luciano in AR and Anna Weber of McPherson, KS and one sister, Barb Stinchcomb of Russell, KS.

He is also survived by stepchildren Ronda, April, Randall, Crystal, Luke and Amber.

He was blessed with many grandchildren, Nephews, Nieces, cousins and friends.

Jim had a beautiful voice and sang in the church choir at Trinity Lutheran and also would sing at weddings.  He loved Elvis and could sing just like him!
The family asks for memorials in lieu of flowers to help with burial expenses.
