MARION – Jack D. Williams, age 82, passed away July 21, 2016, at Via Christi – St. Francis, Wichita. He was born December 25, 1933, at Marion, the son of Irvin and Elsie (Hett) Williams. He was a graduate of Marion High School. He proudly served his country with the United States Army. On August 2, 1959, he was united in marriage to Carolyn “Sue” Hazlip. They farmed and raised chickens for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue in 2011; a daughter Linda Holub in 2010; a daughter-in-law Michelle; and a brother Dean. He is survived by his sons: Gary (Becky) of Marion; Neil (Jennifer) of Herington; Bruce (Diane) of Marion; and Jim of Marion; his sisters: Jeanette Clark and Donna Fruechting; 13 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6- 8 p.m., Monday, at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Aulne United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery. Memorial Funds have been established for the Marion County Relay for Life or the Aulne United Methodist Church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.
