J. Dean Roach, age 86, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Wichita, Kansas.  He was born September 24, 1929, at Glendale, California, the son of Walter and Lyda (Eubanks) Roach.  He was raised and attended school in California.  He proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the occupation of Germany following WWII.  He later served in the Korean War.  He was a service technician for 52 years with Southwestern Bell, he retired in 1989.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Connie Mavity.  He is survived by his wife Donna Roach; sons:  J. D. and wife Becky Mavity, and Jeff Roach all of Newton; siblings:  Howard Roach of Mission Viejo, California; and Carolyn Carlson of Murrieta, California; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.  Cremation has taken place.

Donna Jean Roach, age 73, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Newton, Kansas.  She was born in Seattle, Washington, January 23, 1943.  She was the daughter of Leroy "Bill" and Dorothy (Bozley) Sharbono.  She was raised and attended school in Montana.  She was a waitress for over 30 years, a career that allowed to meet so many people and she made many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dean in 2015; a daughter Connie Mavity in 2000; and three brothers:  Marvin, Kenneth and Gary Sharbono.  She is survived by her sons:  J. D. and his wife Becky of Newton; and Jeff Roach of Newton; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held for Dean and Donna at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Lamb Funeral Home.  Donna may be viewed prior to the service.  Their final resting place will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.  A Memorial Fund has been established for the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S Main, Whitewater, KS, 67154.
