Harper Rosella Louise Bryant

Harper’s life began on May 1, 2017, in Newton.  She is the daughter of Matthew and Stephanie (King) Bryant.  Harper was an energetic and joyous kindergarten student at Marion Elementary.  She loved to dance and sing and draw.  Harper had a huge imagination and would play for hours with her dolls and tea set.  She was adventurous and strong and would try to climb almost anything.  Harper loved animals, especially her pet guinea pigs and her cat George.  Her smile melted your heart and she could always make you smile.  Harper’s dad and mom  Matt and Stephanie Bryant reside in  Marion, her siblings are Landon and Emmarie Bryant of Marion and Jordan (Melody) Brewer of Newton; her niece Daisy Brewer; maternal grandma Annette King of Hillsboro, paternal grandparents Joe and Darla Bryant of Marion, her aunt Andrea King of Colorado Springs and her uncle Daniel Bryant of Emporia. Harper passed from the life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday March 11, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.  She is preceded in death by her grandpa Tim King and her great grandparents Margaret and Ralph Funk and Lois and Floyd Bryant.  Her family will gather with friends on Thursday March 16^th from 5-7 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion.  Her Celebration of Life will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion on Friday March 17^th at 10 a.m. led by Pastor Josh Wesner.  She will be laid to rest in Haven of Rest Cemetery, Hillsboro.  Memorial donations in Harper’s name may be directed to the USD 408 Foundation for a memorial in Harper’s name at her school.  Please sign her online guestbook and leave a memory of Harper at www.yazelmeglifh.com.
