Goldie F White

Goldie’s life began on February 10, 1940, in Fisk, MO. She was the daughter of Pearly O. and Mildred P. (Tyree) Wheeler. Goldie was united in marriage to Wesley Clifton White, Sr. on August 13, 1970, in Poplar Bluff, MO. Goldie was a homemaker taking care of her family. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed crocheting. Goldie was a member of the Junction City Eagles Aerie where she played lots of bingo. She is survived by her children Patricia Morton of Herington, and Terry L. Morton of Herington, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and her sister Wilma Hay of Bunker Hill, IL. Goldie passed away on January 25, 2025, at the Legacy of Herington nursing home. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Wes, son Cliff, Jr. and son Richard “Steve” Morton, her siblings John Wheeler, Leroy Wheeler, Miles Wheeler, and David Wheeler. Her family will gather with friends on Friday January 31, 2025, at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Herington from 5-6 p.m. for visitation followed by her service at 6 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Woodbine Cemetery at a later date.
