Francis "Franny" L. Meirowsky

Francis L. “Franny” Meirowsky, 78, passed away November 11, 2015, at his residence.  He was born January 31, 1937, in Hillsboro, Kansas.  He was the son of George and Florence (Winkley) Meirowsky.  He worked for over 39 years at Didde-Glaser in Emporia.  On January 17, 1970, he was united in marriage to Mary Jean Creamer.  He was active in the Holy Family Parish and the Florence Community.  He is lovingly survived by his wife, Jeanie of Florence; two daughters:  Nikki Riggs and husband Wes of Florence; and Tara Loveless and husband Chris of Derby; a brother, John Meirowsky and wife Betty of Newton; 8 grandchildren:  Aaron, Eli, Clay, Derek, and Blake Riggs, Brooklyn, Isabella, and Brandon Loveless; and 2 great-grandchildren:  Zaedyn and Jadyn.  Services will be held at Holy Family Parish, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Florence, with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Monday evening, and the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
