Ferrel "Sharky" G. Smith

Sharky’s life began on March 18, 1965 in Council Grove.  He was the son of Pete and Phinetta Smith.  He served his country in the National Guard and worked as a handyman.  Sharky was united in marriage to Rebecca Plumb in 1987 in Junction City.  He is survived by his wife Rebecca of the home, children Leland and Wolphen of the home and Christal (Rocky) Smith of Manhattan; five grandchildren, a brother George and sister Lulu.  Sharky passed away at his home on April 14, 2021 in Latimer.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Roletta.  Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington is serving the family.  Memorial contributions in his name may be directed the funeral home.  Please sign his online guestbook and leave a memory of Sharky at www.ymzfh.com.
