Elmer Allen Johnson

HERINGTON - Elmer Allen Johnson, of Herington, died Tuesday, September 6th, 2016, at Legacy of Herington.  He was born on January 3rd, 1934, at Herington, the son of Lee M. and Viola A. (Dombrowski) Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Sept. 10th, 2016, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Herington, with Pastor Bill Peterson, officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodbine Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service Saturday, Sept. 10th, 2016, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church.                                                                                                  

He was a carpenter with Lockheed-Martin of Ft. Worth, Texas, until he retired.  He worked as a carpenter in the Herington area before moving to Ft. Worth, Texas.  He graduated from Woodbine High School with the class of 1951.

He is survived by three sons:  Troy Johnson of Herington, Todd Johnson (wife-Sandy) of San Antonio, TX, Tim Johnson of Austin, TX; a brother William “Bill” Johnson (wife-Lori) of Seattle, WA; five grandchildren: Brady Allen Johnson, Mitchell Jay Johnson, Clayton Lee Johnson, Lukas Kendall Johnson, and Chelsea Nicole Quintanilla.
