Duane Neuwirth

March 13, 1962 — March 28, 2021

Duane's life began March 13, 1962 in Marion.  He was the son of Bob and Rose Mary (Schneweis) Neuwirth.  Duane worked for Agco "Heston Corporation" for many years as a welder. He enjoyed growing his garden at home, tinkering in his shop with his son, building demolition derby cars, hunting and was the all around "Fix-it" man.  Duane was easy-going and was always close at hand to help anyone.  His loving family includes his son Mitchell (Taylor Vogt aka Happy) Neuwirth of Marion, his father Bob Neuwirth of Marion, and siblings Diana Stanfill of Salina and Laurie Brunner of Herington.  Duane passed away at his home on Sunday March 28, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his mother Rose Mary.  Duane's family will gather with friends on Saturday April 2nd from 2-5 p.m. at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Marion.  Funeral services will be held at a later date in Pilsen.  Memorial contributions in Duane's name may be directed to the Father Kapaun Legacy Fund.  Please sign his online guestbook and leave a memory of Duane at www.ymzfh.com.
