Dennis Dean Ryff

HERINGTON - Dennis D. Ryff, 59, Dennis Dean Ryff, of Ramona, departed this life, Monday, Feb. 29th, 2016, at Wichita. He was born on May 3rd, 1956, at Salina, the son of George H. and Rosetta A. (Kandt) Ryff.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, Mar. 4th, 2016, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, with Pastor Bill Peterson, officiating. Burial will follow at the Lewis Cemetery of Ramona.  Calling time will be from 6:00 – 8:00pm, Thursday, at Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington Chapel.

Mr. Ryff took a medical retirement three years ago from (API) Agri Producers.  Earlier in his career he worked at Vogt Standard Service Station and Cardie Oil Company.  He was a Boy Scout leader.  He graduated from Herington High School with the class of 1974.  He attended Hope Grade School.  He was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

He married Donita Campbell on December 27th, 1974, at Herington, and she survives of the home rural Ramona. He is survived by a son Tracy Ryff (wife-Gina) of White City; two daughters Miranda Ryff of Topeka, Alyssa Huggins of El Dorado; 3 brothers Larry Ryff (wife-Terry) of Hope, Phil Ryff of Ramona, Tim Ryff of Elmo; a sister Diane Schultz (husband-Fred) of Great Bend; five grandchildren: Brett, Peyton, Madison, Kobe, and Darius.
