Dennis L. "Brillo" Druse

August 3, 1960 — October 11, 2016

El Dorado – Dennis L. “Brillo” Druse, age 56, passed away October 11, 2016, at Via Christi – St. Francis, in Wichita.  He was born August 3, 1960, in El Dorado, the son of Jim and Eilene (Hansen) Druse.  He was a graduate from Marion High School with the Class of 1979.  He drove truck for Bituminous Transport.  He was an avid Chiefs fan, liked riding his Harley, and enjoyed life with his family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by a brother Bud and wife Norma of Marion; two sisters:  Cindy Ruthloff and husband Mel of Newton; and Janet Berry and husband Scott of Pretty Prairie; Nieces and Nephews:  Michelle Druse, Reena Gulick, Bryan Berry, Brad Druse and Patrick Berry and their families; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  A Viewing will be held on Sunday from 3 – 5 p.m., at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.  Cremation will then take place.  A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Grant Township Cemetery, Marion.  In lieu of flowers, the family has established a Memorial Fund with the Marion County Food Bank, in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.  Online Condolences may be left at www.zeinerfuneralhomes.com.
