Delores Levon Wangerin

Delores life began on October 13, 1937 in Herington.  She was the daughter of Howard and Faith (Hudson) Biegert.  She was united in marriage to Bobby Dean Wangerin and he preceded her in death.  Delores was a homemaker, raising five children.  She loved flower gardening, cooking, yard sales, her beloved fish, dogs and cats and especially her grandchildren.  Delores liked to save everything in case it was to be used later and surrounded herself with pictures of her family.  Her family includes her son Rusty (Jenniifer) Wangerin of Salina; grandchildren Chris (Liz), Jennifer, Arthur, Heather, Shawn (Amber), Stephanie, Danny (Kylie), April (Nick), Amaria, Aiden and Colton; and several great grandchildren.  Delores passed away on February 26, 2020 at Diversa Care in Council Grove.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sons Dave, Mike, Bob and daughter Sue Parr.  Her family will gather with friends for her memorial service on Saturday March 14th at 11 a.m. at Yazel-Megli-Zeiner Funeral Home, Herington.  She will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the funeral home.  Please sign her online guestbook and leave a memory of Delores at www.ymzfh.com.
