Christopher "Chris" R Brewer

Chris’s life began on January 29, 1988, in Newton.  He is the son of Darryl and Linda (Hein) Brewer.  Chris loved everything outdoors.  He enjoyed his motorcycle, hunting, guns, camping, wakeboarding, and watersports.  Chris especially loved anything that involved his kids.  He was a hard-working tree trimmer and played hard too. 

Family was important to Chris and left to cherish his memory are his parents Darryl and Linda Brewer of Marion; children Macie Shahan of Eureka, Kenzlie Brewer, Alexis Brewer, and Daxton Brewer, all of Marion;  sisters Amanda (Brandon Goodenough) Person of Newton, and Barbara “Bobbie Jo” (Daniel) Spohn of Tampa; nieces and nephews Jordan ( Melody Burns) Brewer, Ashley Spohn, Cassandra (Nick) Rose, Danielle Spohn, James Spohn, Maleiqua Spohn, Cameron Spohn, and Robert Spohn; great niece and nephew Remington Law and Daisy Jo Lynn Brewer and bonus kids Paetyn and Braelyn Lorance. 

Chris passed away on Saturday November 26, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.  His family will gather with friends on Sunday December 4, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Marion.  His funeral service will be held on Monday December 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Marion Presbyterian Church led by Pastor Jeremiah Lange.  Chris will be laid to rest in Whitewater Center Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the funeral home for funeral expenses.  Please sign his online guestbook and leave a memory of Chris at www.yazelmeglifh.com.
