Charles “Charlie” John Naerebout, Jr. was born March 8, 1956, to Charles John Sr., and Donna Mae (Trim) Naerebout in Grand Haven, Michigan. Charlie attended Spring Lake, Michigan Schools and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Teresa Lynne Anderson on November 19, 2007, in White Cloud, Michigan.
Charlie was a welder for Agco in Hesston, Kansas and worked in maintenance at Dura Automotive in White Cloud, Michigan. He loved his church Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping.
His loving family includes his wife, Teresa of the home; children, Chasity (Daryn) Warriner of Ozark, Missouri, Karen Hidalgo of Unadilla, Nebraska, Aprelle Naerebout, and Charles (Cassandra) Naerebout all of White Cloud, Michigan; siblings, Penny (Greg) Walker of Newton, Kansas, Richard Naerebout, of Bailey, Michigan, Donna Mae (Steve) Youngheim of White Cloud, Michigan and Larry Naerebout of Grand Haven, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, Elisha, Isaiah, and Shiloh Warriner, Micayla Harness, John and Liz Hidalgo, James and Naomi Thompson, Riley and Charles IV Naerebout; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Bennett, Josephine and Alistair; an aunt, Donna Raye Johnson and a great nephew, Bryce Naerebout; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr., and Donna Naerebout. Charlie went home to be with his Lord and Savior after fighting a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the age of 64 years old.
A private family service will be held. His family will gather with friends on Friday, July 17, from 2-4 p.m. at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home. Masks will be required. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or American Cancer Society – Pediatric Cancer or to help defray funeral expenses in care of Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, 902 E.
