Brandon Wade Gillett, age 42 years, of Dallas, TX passed away on February 20 in Dallas.
He was born on June 19, 1975, in Hillsboro, KS to Bob and Debbie (Franta) Gillett. He graduated from Centre High School and then Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Management. While at K-State, he was an active member of the Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity. He moved to Dallas after graduation and began his career at TDIndustries, where he worked until his death.
He loved being outdoors, sporting events, spending time with his friends and family, and most of all, his daughters, Aubrey and Kinley. He was married for nearly eight years to Kari Witherspoon, formerly of Lincoln, NE. Although their time together was too brief, they made a lifetime of memories.
He is survived by his parents, wife and children, brother and best friend Sean (Angela) Gillett of Ankeny, IA, niece and nephew Lauren Romero and Logan Gillett, grandmother Irmagene Goodman, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 10th at Holy Family Parish-St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church Pilsen, KS. A rosary will be held Friday evening at 6:30 pm, also at Pilsen.
