Bradley A. Carlson

August 29, 1962 — May 21, 2018

Brad A. Carlson son of Gary and Shirley (Walker) Carlson, was born August 29, 1962 in Marion, Kansas.  He was the third child born to this union, which included three sons and one daughter – Greg, Cindy, Brad and Mitch.

He lived his entire life in Marion.  During High School he worked at Quality Food Market.  After graduating from High School, he went to work as a welder for Rex Siebert at Diamond Ranch.  He then worked for Marion Tool and Die, maintenance at Marion Housing Authorities, welder at Circle D and his current place of employment was with Pfizer doing Visual Inspection.  He also worked with his Dad throughout the years helping with TV and Satellite and also helped with the sound system for many community events.

Brad had two children – Jessi and Randy and five grandchildren.

Brad enjoyed camping, boating and fishing.  He also enjoyed his jobs welding.  He was a joy and a blessing to his parents especially his mom after dad passed helping out with vehicle repairs, yardwork, shopping and traveling.  He also continued with helping out with the TV business making house calls in the evenings and weekends when necessary. 

He is survived by his mother, Shirley of Marion; his children Jessi and husband Paul of Marion; Randy and wife Amy of Marion; his brother Greg and wife Linda of Marion; sister, Cindy and husband Charlie Reece of Hillsboro; brother Mitch and wife Suzi of Marion and five grandchildren.
