Beverly Ann Blevins

Beverly “Bev” Ann Blevins aka Baby Grandma, was born August 6, 1938, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born to George L and Lola J (Evans) Hibbs. Beverly worked hard all her life. She started working at a young age in a soda fountain shop. She was married to Raymond Blevins on April 16, 1962. She worked in the meat department at Steen’s and Leeker’s grocery stores, learning the art of meat packing. She worked at Southwest Grease and Oil until she started work at Dole Foods in Quality Control. Then continued with Hormel Food as Quality Control until her retirement. After retirement she loved to play bingo, lottery and go to casinos. Beverly was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved going to all the activities she could. She loved her dogs dearly. She also loved traveling with her husband, Ray. If you said the word “GO” she was ready. Beverly, at the age of 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Blevins; parents: George L Hibbs and Lola J Hibbs; and brother: Jack Grimes. Beverly is survived by her daughters: Janie (Ron) McAllister; Judie (Larry) Whiteside; and Merle (Dave) Cazier; grandchildren: Breanna (Tony) Chavez, Cameron (Tess) McAllister, Tyler (Dani) Whiteside, Chad Wolley, Jennifer Barnaby, Carly (Brett Rohloff) Cazier; 18 Great-Grandkids; and many nieces and nephews.
