Aurora Z De La Rosa

NEWTON - Aurora Z. De La Rosa, age 58, passed peacefully away November 11, 2016, at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater, Kansas. She was born May 27, 1958, in Matanzas, Cuba.  She was the daughter of Orlando De La Rosa and Francisca (Castillo) De La Rosa.  She had been enrolled in the ResCare program in Newton, Kansas.  She is survived by her mother, Francisca De La Rosa of Newton; a sister, Millie Claassen and husband Dean of Whitewater; a niece Adriana Pena and husband Brock, and their children Gracelyn and Natilie; and two nephews Michael Claassen and Daniel Claassen.  All services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Lamb Funeral Home of Whitewater.  The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., and the Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. through service time.  Interment will follow in the Haldeman Cemetery, Potwin, Kansas.  A Memorial Fund has been established for ResCare of Newton, in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S Main, Whitewater, Kansas, 67154.  Online Condolences may be left at www.zeinerfuneralhomes.com.
