Anna "Margaret" Morgan

BURNS – Anna "Margaret" Morgan, age 86, passed away May 15, 2016, at Asbury Park of Newton.  She was born December 24, 1929, at Burns, the daughter of Augustus and Vida (Strange) Bishoff.  She was a 1947 graduate of Cedar Point High School.  On August 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Ivan R. Morgan at El Dorado.  Their marriage was blessed with 4 sons.  She was a farmwife, and she drove school bus for over 30 years for Peabody-Burns School District.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She liked to play guitar.  She was an active member of the Christian Church of Florence and the Christian Women's group.  She was preceded in death by two sisters Vera Hucksteadt and Betty Jean Waner.  She is survived by her husband Ivan; her sons:  Micheal Morgan and wife Beverly Jean of Burns; Larry Morgan and wife Delores of Hesston; Richard Morgan and wife Kristi of Moundridge; and Rodney Morgan and wife Robin of Burns; a sister Katherine Otte of Herington; a brother-in-law Lyman Hucksteadt of Garden City; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  All service will be held at the Christian Church of Florence, with the Visitation from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, and the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016.  Interment will be in the Burns Cemetery.  Memorial Funds have been established for the Christian Church of Florence or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.
