Aleah’s life began on December 25, 2006, in Manhattan, Kansas. She was the daughter of Thomas Arevalo and Tandi (Sullivan) Reiff. Aleah was a senior at Abilene High School. She found her passion for Volleyball in 3rd grade. She played recreation, travel and school volleyball though the years. She also participated in basketball, soccer, swim team and softball. She was looking forward to an amazing senior year. Aleah was a spiritual soul, who loved thunderstorms and literally dancing in the rain. She loved her dog Mr. beanz and spending time at the family farm. She also enjoyed spending time with her dad, playing tennis, taking walks, shopping at Menards and attending soccer games in Kansas City. Family vacations with her Dad, her Abuelo and Abuela, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins were always special. Aleah was highly artistic and creative. She expressed that side of her through painting, drawing, creative writing, cooking and baking. A highlight of her life was spending time in her Grandma’s flower shop arranging flowers, and going with her to Denver to see her Aunt, Uncle and Cousins. She loved all things fashion and shopping for fun outfits. Aleah had a knack for decorating her room with colorful rugs, beautiful wall hangings and crystals. Aleah had an outdoor side as well, she loved to go camping and fishing with her dog Mr. Beanz. When she was younger a highlight of her summer was attending Camp Tomah Shinga where she could witness the beauty of God’s grace and every sunset. She loved hiking, swimming, wall climbing, singing, sleeping under the stars and meeting new friends. Aleah had planned to go to cosmetology school at Bellus Academy in Manhattan. She looked forward to getting her own place and decorating. Aleah was a Christmas baby, and she absolutely loved Christmas and being with her family. Her loving family includes her mother Tandi and Jeremy Reiff of Abilene, her father Thomas Arevalo of Enterprise, her siblings Amelia Arevalo of Abilene, Brenton Reiff of Abilene, and Maddy Reiff of Abilene; maternal grandparents Vikki (Larry Rowe) Sullivan of Herington and Micheal (Joan) Sullivan of Herington, and Joan Reiff of Abilene; paternal grandparents Thomas and Antonia Arevalo of Hudson, FL; aunt Brandi ( Kyle ) Krause of Denver, uncle Steve (Rosalie) Arevalo of Brooksville, FL, and aunt Kara (Mitchell) Cromwell of Abilene; cousins Joey, Adriana, Camden, Cali, Larissa and Owen.
