Albert’s life began on June 26, 1941, in Jefferson, OK. He was the son of Benjamin A. and Mildred B. (McClaflin) Wynn. Albert was a 1958 graduate of West High School in Wichita. After graduation, he entered boot camp in September of 1958 in the United States Marine Corps, and served his country for four years, including two years overseas. Upon returning to civilian life, Albert worked as a truck driver hauling livestock for Branson and then Martin Marietta quarry in Marion County. He loved to ride his motorcycle and was a member of the Nemesis Motorcycle club in Herington. Albert enjoyed having coffee with his friends daily. He was an avid bowler and was a teammate on several bowling teams. Albert was a member of the Herington VFW post, the American Legion in Hope and served on the color guard. He was also a former member of the Shriners. Family was very important to Albert, and he is survived by his children Angie (Mike) Kallaus of Hutchinson, and Deanna ( Cord Coslor) Wynn of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren Ashley (Bryce Johnson) Graf, Michael ( Allison) Graf, Christopher ( Tracey Sanders) Kallaus, Cierra ( Robbie) Coward, Tyler ( Ashley) Wynn, Morgan Coslor, and McKenzie Coslor; 12 great grandchildren and four nieces. Albert passed away on January 17, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Myrna Pike, Billy Wynn, and Lynda Sarainna. His family will gather with friends on Saturday February 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Herington from 10 to 11 a.m. for a celebration of his life at the First Baptist Church in Herington and his service will be held at 11 a.m..
