Rodney Williams

Rodney Williams, 90 passed away at 6:55 am at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton, Kansas on July 27, 2026.

He was born January 28, 1936. He married Twilah Lynn (Hood) Williams February 23, 1963 at the Zion United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas. They enjoyed a marriage of 59 years until her passing on April 24, 2022.

He was the founder of Williams Service, a diesel truck mechanic repair shop in 1963.

Those who preceded him in death are his parents and his wife Twilah.

Those who survive are son, Stan (Karen) Williams of Marion; Daughter Stephanie Williams of Wichita, 3 Grandchildren Chase, Kayla, and Colin and several great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, August 7th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Home in Marion. Life celebration service is scheduled for 10:30 am on Saturday, August 8th at the Florence United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Rankin officiating. Interment to follow the service.
